COSS works with businesses and organisations that want to get involved with their local community. There are lots of ways to do this, from volunteering and fundraising to becoming a charity partner.

Get your team involved
Corporate volunteering is a great way to make an immediate difference. Employees could spend a day with us sorting donations, preparing food parcels, helping at events or tackling practical jobs around our premises.
We’ve welcomed teams from organisations including BlackRock, NatWest and Aegon who have supported us through employee volunteering days. Their teams have rolled up their sleeves and helped with the day-to-day work that keeps our services running.
Partnerships
We’re also proud to work with businesses that choose to support COSS as their charity partner.
These partnerships, provide valuable support to help us continue delivering services to people and families experiencing poverty across South West Edinburgh.
Partnerships can include:
- Employee volunteering days
- Charity of the year partnerships
- Fundraising and sponsored events
- Regular financial donations
- Donations of food, supplies or equipment
- Skills-based volunteering
- Supporting a specific COSS service or project
- Team challenges and community fundraising

We’d love to hear from more local businesses and organisations who would like to get involved. We’re happy to work with you to find something that fits your organisation and your team.
If you have an idea you’d like to discuss, get in touch with us. We’d love to hear from you.
